Responsibilities
Lead and manage the review, drafting, and finalization of all contractual instruments, including main
contracts, subcontracts, consultancy agreements, and supplier agreements, ensuring full compliance
with corporate policies, legal requirements, and project-specific needs.
Provide authoritative contractual leadership and guidance to project teams, senior management, and
relevant stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
• Manage and oversee contract execution and performance, ensuring strict adherence to contractual
terms, conditions, deliverables, and project milestones.
Proactively lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of contractual and commercial risks,
including variations, claims, delays, breaches, and potential disputes.
Supervise and control the development, organization, and maintenance of comprehensive and accurate
contract records, including amendments, change orders, notices, correspondence logs, and supporting
documentation.
Coordinate and lead cross-functional collaboration with legal, procurement, finance, project control,
and other internal departments to ensure integrated, compliant, and efficient contract administration.
Conduct and manage periodic contract audits, preparing structured analytical reports, findings, and
recommendations for submission to the direct manager.
Lead contractual support for tendering and procurement processes, including evaluation of tender
documents, review of conditions of contract, and preparation of clear contractual clarifications and
submissions.
Lead and participate in negotiations with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to secure optimal
commercial and contractual outcomes for the company.
Manage the full contract closeout process, including final account reconciliation, release of guarantees
and securities, and formal closure of all contractual obligations.
Manage and oversee claims management activities, including drafting formal contractual
correspondence, preparing and reviewing notices and claims, supporting dispute resolution proceedings,
and ensuring full compliance with FIDIC conditions of contract.
Establish, manage, and monitor claims logs, tracking systems, and participate in project risk reviews.
Undertake additional managerial and contractual responsibilities as assigned by the direct manager or
Top Management.
Qualifications
+10 years of experience in contract management within the construction and real state sectors, with a solid
background in engineering projects.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic & English.
● Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
● In-depth knowledge of construction contracts (Egyptian Civil Law, FIDIC, NEC, etc.) and legal
frameworks.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
● Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
● Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university or college.● Master’s degree in Contract Management & Law (is an advantage).
● PMP or similar project management certification (is an advantage).
